    Verdict

The progressive RAAEQ won over today’s trip at Sandown before beating older horses when scoring easily over 7f in soft going here at the start of the month. He’ll be competing in Group races in time but can land this first. Fellow three-year old Keats finished in front of Njord when landing a Listed race at Cork while Tempus won over track and trip before finishing behind third-placed Bell Rock in the Cambridgeshire at Newmarket and is preferred to stablemate Blue Mist. King Ottokar failed to get a clear run at Doncaster dropped into a handicap for the first time and will handle the soft ground while Raising Sand and Kynren were both well beaten in the Royal Hunt Cup here in June but the former should be sharper today. Orbaan hails from last year’s winning yard and is preferred to Hortzadar while River Nymph is on the upgrade and Frankie gets the leg-up on Alternative Fact.
