      Verdict

Sir Michael Stoute has won this twice in the last six years and will be hoping Disegno can reverse latest running in the Dee Stakes at Chester with Not So Sleepy. That may well be the case as the latter has yet to race on fast ground while both Mustadeem and Nafaqa are looking to take revenge on Peacock having found the Hannon colt too good in a Listed race at Newmarket. Cape Clear Island was placed in a Group 2 at Longchamp last month but had earlier found MASTER APPRENTICE too good in the Classic Trial at Sandown. Andrew Balding's colt made all on that occasion and is well drawn to make another bold bid from the front with further progress expected. The well-bred Time Test made an impressive winning handicap debut at Newbury and should be in the mix along with the filly Bocca Baciata while Maftool has the past form to get involved, though was well beaten in the French 2000 Guineas last time.
