NEW GRADUATE is a clear favourite in the ante-post betting having returned to action with an impressive win at Ripon on his handicap debut. Entered in a Group 3 contest later in the season, James Tate’s colt may prove too good for these with Frankie doing the steering. The Irish challenger Settle For Bay won last year’s renewal in good style off a 6lb lower mark with Afaak, Circus Couture and What's The Story filling the places and Raising Sand, Seniority and Kynren further behind. But the latter was beaten only a neck in the Victoria Cup over 7f here last month while Robin Of Navan ran into trouble when going well at Newbury on his return to handicap company and could figure with normal luck in-running.
