Verdict
INSPIRAL made a winning reappearance at last year’s Royal Ascot when landing the Coronation Stakes on fast ground. She went on to further Group 1 glory when beating Light Infantry in France and can edge out Modern Games. The latter made a winning return in the Lockinge when Chindit and Berkshire Shadow filled the places and Mutasaabeq and Lusail finished further behind. Pogo also has something to find with the Godolphin colt but better is expected from the latter’s stablemate and last year’s Irish 2000 Guineas winner Native Trail, who ran a bit flat at Newmarket on his comeback. Angel Bleu, Cash and Triple Time will all need to step up to figure on these terms.
