Verdict

The 2011 winner Dancing Rain makes her belated return to action. She handles soft ground and will presumably adopt her usual tactic of taking the lead but may only succeed in setting up the race for GREAT HEAVENS. John Gosden's filly faded a furlong out in the Arc last time, her first outing since July, but she should be a lot sharper today and a repeat of her Irish Oaks victory when beating Shirocco Star and the Epsom Oaks winner Was would probably see her back to winning ways. Testosterone is struggling for form and also has something to find with the selection as does French raider La Pomme D'Amour on collateral form. Vow is another with a bit to prove now but the progressive Sapphire, a Group 3 winner at Cork last time, should go well though Jehannedarc and Semayyel are more difficult to fancy in this company.
