Verdict

A small but competitive field goes to post for this novices chase with Lilium de Cotte, Supreme Prince and One Nation the main protagonists, and we will take a chance on the Nicky Henderson gelding Lilium De Cotte. The selection hails from an in-form yard and was one of last season's top juvenile hurdlers. He made a pleasing chasing debut at Uttoxeter last month when defeating Polar Red. He is sure to improve for that run, and looks the one to beat. Supreme Prince was in the top echelons of the hurdling ranks last season and he looks to be progressing well over fences after an impressive success over inferior opposition last time. One Nation is capable of a big run but was a bit disappointing last time and is prone to making the odd error over the fences, while See You Sometime is from a shrewd yard and can not be discounted. This should be a fascinating and informative race, but we will side with Lilium De Cotte.
