Verdict
A typically competitive three-year-old handicap in which several of these have claims including Mudawin, Shalaya and First Centurion but the vote goes to Baileys Dancer. Mark Johnston's filly would not have an obvious chance on what she has shown in two starts so far this term but there is sure to be plenty of improvement to come, especially over this trip, and at the market odds she looks worth a bet. Marcus Tregoning has his string in fine fettle at present so Mudawin has to be respected despite the burden of 9st 7lb. Sir Michael Stoute's Shalaya is unexposed but may need this first time up and a bigger threat is likely to come from the John Hills-trained First Centurion, who won his maiden at Haydock easily and could be anything. Alan King's Incursion stepped up on juvenile form when landing a maiden over today's trip at Windsor on his reappearance and is another worthy of a mention along with John Dunlop's Gretna. Michael Bell's Ganymede and the John Jenkins-trained Magic Amigo do not have much weight to carry and are others to consider but the vote goes to Baileys Dancer.
