        Verdict

        Awesome Love looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to open his account and gets the vote to do so with Red Top and Latif rated the main dangers. Mark Johnston's colt showed plenty of promise on his debut as a two-year-old when second to Kafuwain in an Ayr maiden and, with plenty of improvement anticipated from two to three, he gets the vote. Richard Hannon's Red Top has shown a fair level of form in two starts this term and rates a bigger threat than Latif, who needs to improve on what he has shown in two maidens so far. Paul Cole's Peter Paul Rubens may do better now that he tackles a faster surface and is another to consider along with Mick Channon's reappearing First Dawn but the vote goes to Awesome Love.
