Verdict

KID COMMANDO has the form in the book with an impressive wide-margin success at Fontwell on his debut under Rules. That looks stronger form than Soaring Glory’s debut win at Warwick last month and Willie Butler’s victory at Huntingdon back in April and Anthony Honeyball’s charge is taken to defy a penalty. Paul Nicholls debuts a couple of point-to-point winners with Bravemansgame costing a whopping £370,000 at the sales and partnered by Harry Cobden ahead of Skatman while Quiet Flow, El Tornado and Fier Echezeaux are other newcomers to note.
