In depth

Verdict

A competitive affair featuring several in-form sprinters. Only Spoofing is one of those and, like top weight Ornate, arrives on a hat-trick. Daschas makes a quick reappearance under a penalty after scoring at Windsor on Monday evening and finished ahead of Jumira Bridge at that track earlier. Harome led until inside the final furlong here earlier in the month and seems sure to run his race again, though is closely matched with Arecibo on an earlier run together at Ayr. MOUNTAIN PEAK kept finding at Newmarket two weeks ago. He’s been raised 6lb but is probably still on a fair mark and did win on his only previous appearance here.
