Verdict

Mark Johnston took this event twelve months ago and Love You Always is the TEAMtalk selection to stage a repeat for the Middleham handler. The son of Woodman takes a big step up in class here but could hardly have been more impressive when bolting up by ten lengths in a Hamilton maiden on his debut in the manner of a smart prospect. Captain Saif has done nothing wrong and is clearly on the upgrade having followed a maiden victory with a narrow success in a Kempton conditions event earlier in the month. Richard Hannon's charge looks sure to progress further and will be no pushover while Weavers Pride wasn't beaten far in the Champagne Stakes so merits plenty of respect but Torzal is out of his depth.
