In depth

Verdict

This is a tough handicap and Ladies Best, All The Good and Mustajed are all worth considering with the vote given to Ladies Best. Sir Michael Stoute's colt ran on well when a close third behind stablemate Red Gala at Doncaster last time. He was doing his best work at the finish that day so the step-up in trip should suit and he rates as a solid bet. Mustajed was a little disappointing at Kempton last time but did win impressively at Salisbury back in June. However, the handicapper may now have his measure on turf and we will pass him over. All The Good finished behind our selection last time and we are confident that the step-up in trip will improve Ladies Best, it may not be as beneficial to All The Good. Heaven Knows is another held by our selection, so all form lines return us to Ladies Best as the one to beat.
