Verdict
Hattan gets the vote in this Group 3 contest over Laverock and Zaham. The selection was good value for his winning margin when beating Foxhaven in a Listed event at Chester last time. He proved that day that this trip suits and he can make his presence felt on his return to racing in Group company. Laverock has been running with credit in Germany and he did run well here over this course and distance back in July so he has to be respected. Zaham tackles this trip for the first time and if he gets home then he will not be far away at the finish. Young Mick improved beyond recognition last season but he has not been seen out in public for a year so he may need the run. Hattan won well at Chester last time and he can land this prize.
