Verdict

Nolife is at the top of his game and looks capable of landing the four-timer, Em's Royalty and Brandy Wine could be the main rivals. Lucinda Russell's gelding still appears to be ahead of the handicapper following wins at Perth and Carlisle. He never wins by far but always seems to find a bit extra when pressed, so it is difficult to know just how much there is left in the tank, but he should be capable of defying his latest penalty. Em's Royalty finished a decent second behind Minster Son in a better class event than this at Carlisle and should go close despite top-weight. Brandy Wine is from a top yard and although he has shown very little so far he does get in here on a very low mark. Amber Go Go could prove best of the remainder, but Nolife is impossible to oppose and gets the confident vote
