In depth

Verdict

Alqamar won on the Flat for Godolphin and was rated 92 at one point. He’s switched to James Moffatt but did only find one too good on his hurdles bow at Carlisle in February, albeit beaten 18 lengths. Culture wouldn’t want significant rain but was also a decent handicapper on the level and this won’t take much winning. Brian Hughes partners THE CARETAKER for James Ewart and his mount is taken to open his account over timber on his second start following wind surgery. Collateral form gives him the beating of Alqamar, though he’s not raced since November.
