Though a runner-up over hurdles here last time, Heavey will need to improve on his previous efforts over fences. Sizing Cusimano has failed to build on an earlier second at Wincanton while cheekpieces brought no improvement from Big Nasty at Chepstow but EBONY GALE ran well again at Kempton last time having scored at Taunton before that and Philip Hobbs’ charge looks the most likely to run his race.
