        Verdict

        Sky Lake has gone close the last twice now including over track and trip last time when ahead of International Law with Weloof further behind. Carey Street never figured over further recently but was narrowly beaten here before that while MAC MCCARTHY (NAP) returned to winning ways over course and distance on last month’s reappearance. He tumbled down the weights last year and can defy a 3lb rise now back to form. Sharpcliff makes his handicap debut and is one to note.
