In depth

Verdict

There was plenty to like about Digital Media's debut win over fences and off a mark of 93 he is taken to land this handicap at the main expense of Something Silver and Jefertiti. Howard Johnson's horses are starting to return to form having been through a bad period and off this feather-weight, this six-year-old son of Taipan can win again. He handles the ground well and there is more to come from this unexposed gelding. Something Silver is normally more used to the places but he found the winenrs enclosure last time out, however a rise in the weights demands more today. Open De L'Isle also took first place when last seen at Kelso and the wide margin of victory means that he needs respect, although he may have been flattered and this handicap company looks tough. Jerfertiti has plenty of experience but there is no ghuarantee that he will repeat the run of his win last time, so whilst Great Jane may bounce back to form, we are happy to side with Digital Media.
