Verdict
This is tougher than the sprint Longroom won at Ripon last month while Oriental Lilly and Marnie James also step up in class as both bid for hat-tricks. The latter is preferred despite a penalty given he scored by a wide-margin at Haydock just four days ago. Carlton Frankie had a tough task at York last time but won at Redcar before that and finished well ahead of LINE OF REASON (NAP) on earlier running on the Knavesmire. But the latter arrives in much better form today having been beaten less than a length by Ballydoyle’s Battle Of Jericho in a valuable contest at the Curragh and Paul Midgley’s sprinter can return to winning ways in this.
