In depth
Verdict
The Masareti Kid ran well on his first start after a break under similar conditions at Newcastle last month and, if in the same mood today, may be able to go one better so gets the vote ahead of Kidithou and Prince Adjal. The last mentioned lost nothing in defeat behind the well-handicapped Polar Gunner at Sedgefield last time but has yet to prove his effectiveness over this far so may be best watched. Leonia's Rose has claims on the evidence of her latest start here but had shown little prior to that this term and may not be reliable, while Mae Moss is less exposed than most of these and may be open to improvement. Nicky Richards has his string in good form at present so Joe Malone cannot be discounted although stronger claims are probably held by Kidithou who was not far behind the selection at Newcastle last time. The Masareti Kid does just about have his measure on running that day though and is taken to go one better here.
