In depth
Verdict
Huka Lodge would have claims on the form he showed when successful at Haydock two starts ago but he disappointed at Wetherby on his only subsequent start and looks worth taking on, with preference for Pass Me By, who gets the vote ahead of Interdit. The last mentioned was pulled up behind The Bajan Bandit here last time but had won well at Kelso the time before so has to be respected on that evidence. Irish raiders always warrant respect and last month's Down Royal winner Huncheon Paddy is no exception, while recent course and distance winner Skenfrith is still reasonably well treated despite being out of the weights proper. Thosewerethedays probably has too much weight and a better bet looks to be Pass Me By, who has gone up 9lbs for his win at Carlisle last time but that looks fair and he is taken to follow up.
