In depth

Verdict

GIVE ‘EM THE SLIP held a clear lead over 7f at Lingfield last time but the early fast pace took it’s toll in the closing stages and she could only finish third. This shorter trip looks the logical move and she’s preferred to Aunt Agatha. The latter failed to show the expected improvement when sent off favourite at Redcar though she still finished well ahead of Avebury. Soapys Sister also returned a beaten favourite at Musselburgh while stablemate and newcomer Corra Linn is a full-sister to a Group 3 winner and a half-sister to four other winners and is preferred to Sacristy.
