In depth

Verdict

Jim Bolger is comfortably the leading trainer here and with his yard in such good form Cool And Clever is of obvious interest after a promising start over 5f at Cork where he showed good speed and stayed on. Pilbara Gold found 6f too short at the Curragh last weekend and this should be more to her liking but TUMULTUOUS also made a strong debut at the Curragh. Taken off his feet on the quick ground over that 6f, he started to motor when the race was over and today's extra should be to his advantage. His stable also run New Star and the newcomer Kalimera but jockey booking suggest the selection is number one.
