Grid had some strong maiden form last summer and made a very encouraging return to action at Naas so has to be on the shortlist though stable companion DRACONID could be the one to beat. He was staying on nicely at the finish over 7f on testing ground at the Curragh and can be expected to make good progress. Exuma ran into some smart winners last season and started favourite on her reappearance at Gowran but never looked like winning. Lakomet Of Saints made a very encouraging start at Navan in March but Probe, who finished just in front of the selection at the Curragh, didn't make the expected progress at Gowran next time.
