      HER RED DEVIL came with a late run to score over a mile at Hamilton then failed to obtain a clear run at Carlisle. She's taken some time to find her form but now looks ready to kick on and can get back to winning ways. Modify has yet to win a race and looks very ordinary but any further rain will suit Tortoise, who just failed to hold off Diddy Eric at Newcastle. Jimmy Crackle will like the going but has a lot of weight to carry on what he's shown so far.
