In depth
Verdict
Monsieur Poirot, Midlem Melody, Call Me Jack, and Vidi Caesar look the ones to concentrate on in a wide open affair and the tentative vote goes to Call Me Jack. The selection was a fair third behind Chevalier Errant last time that form has since been franked and if his jumping holds up he will be hard to beat under conditions that suit. Monsieur Poirot rates the main danger he was a fair second behind Brave Thought last time over course and distance and will not be far away. Midlem Melody is another worthy of respect but she just gave the impression that the handicapper had caught up with her when third behind Ceresfield last time. Vidi Caesar is from a yard in form and is worth noting in the market while the booking of Tony Dobbin Polyphon catches the eye but for the winner we return to Call Me Jack.
