Verdict
Mahler Supreme posted a better effort in testing going at Kelso just four days ago and may get involved. Calivigny also raced at Kelso last month when well beaten in third but Southeast Rose has only her second outing in a handicap on her reappearance, though today’s surface is a worry for her. Lady Kyria has been competing on the Flat and recorded her only success over hurdles so far over a shorter trip so a chance is taken on HOT GOSSIP. She’ll be sharper for a recent comeback run and having finished runner-up in heavy going over track and trip at this time last year - Diane Sayer’s mare gets the vote.
