In depth

Verdict

Having struggled over fences this year, NORSE LEGEND should appreciate a switch back to the smaller obstacles. He won off a pound higher mark on this card 12 months ago and Harry Kimber’s claim is an added bonus. Rosserk Abbey won over a shorter trip here last month but was no match for Special Princess off 7lb higher at Ffos Las next time and has been raised a further pound since. Derrick D’Anjou struggled when encountering soft ground at Southwell but may have need that run. Meep Meep has been very highly tried so far and makes her handicap so is worth a market check.
