Verdict

This may be a little more competitive than first appears. Queens Cave was a clear second behind a subsequent winner at Chepstow. That looks the best form on offer but LISA DE VASSY can’t have given her true running when pulled up at Fakenham just over a year ago. A winner twice on the Flat in France and placed in Listed company, she is a half-sister to a hurdles winner and has been given plenty of time to recover. Richard Johnson prefers Singapore Saga to Shantou Sunset while Madam Malina could do better now going hurdling but Miss Gemstone probably needs more.
