Verdict

Coolanly, a Grade 2 winner over hurdles, has already won a point-to-point. He wasn’t given a hard time on his reappearance and could be a natural over fences. Coeur Blimey likes the mud and has won a bumper, two hurdles and two staying races on the Flat. He’ll be a danger if taking to chasing but THE MIGHTY DON is probably the class act. He stays 3m so the 2m1f was much too short here on his fencing bow but he still wasn’t beaten far and jumped well enough. Esprit Du Large was staying on when second over 2m at Carlisle and has been lightly raced so is no forlorn hope.
