Verdict

MECCA'S TEAM returned to winning ways back on fast ground at Thirsk last month. Michael Dods' filly won a shade cosily and may well follow up in this lower-grade handicap. Wicked Wilma should be thereabouts again after a placed effort at Pontefract while Here Now And Why will be suited by the return to today's surface, though enthusiasm is tempered by the fact he's been a losing favourite on his last four starts. Imperial Legend carries a penalty for Saturday's win over C&D but can confirm running with fourth-placed Distant Sun despite the worse terms.
