Verdict

Everest, Royal Dignitary and Danehill Dazzler are three against the field in this wide-open handicap and the tentative vote is given to Royal Dignitary. The selection won well last time out when beating Regent's Secret and although he has a penalty for that win he won with plenty in hand and from a good draw he is taken to defy the handicapper. Everest rates the main danger as he has been in good form of late and won in good style when beating Folio last time out. He escapes a penalty for that win as it was an aprentice race and he runs off the same mark here so he will not be far away. Danehill Dazzler is another worthy of respect as he also won well last time out when beating Halle Bop but the step up in trip is not sure to suit and for that reason he is opposed. Sohgol is from a yard in top form and could go well at a price but he disappointed for no apparent reason last time out so can not be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder Bolton Hall had no luck in running last time and is another with place claims but he would not want to much rain and in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Royal Dignitary.
