        Verdict

        Grinty steps up in distance after finishing runner-up over 6f at Carlisle last month. NAVARONE failed to give his running in the same race but is of interest on his debut third in testing ground at Haydock back in July and Richard Fahey’s colt gets another chance in this. Iron Islands looks a likely improver and is preferred to Steel Helmet and Junoesque while the US-bred Kitten's Johnstown is related to a host of winners and Trading Point is also out of a prolific dam. Lamloom is another newcomer to keep an eye on.
