In depth

Verdict

TESTA ROSSA carries 6lb extra after winning here recently but he scored by over four lengths and should be in the mix again. Serena Brotherton’s presence on Hussar Ballad should see him run a big race after placing at Newcastle while last month’s Wetherby winner Duke Of Yorkshire could also go well. But Quadriga normally saves his best for Southwell and won at the latter track in April. The Wee Barra scored over a shorter trip at Hamilton on her penultimate start but stays this far.
