A 6lb rise proved beyond Mr Cool Cash at Carlisle in his attempt to land a hat-trick and he is much worse off with Lightning Spree on earlier running at Thirsk. BIPARTISAN won a maiden race at Thirsk last time but had earlier gone close in a handicap at Chepstow and looks to have every chance on that form. Adventureman ran well at Musselburgh on his first start for Ruth Carr and can figure but Cadeaux has proved better over 7f so far. Rockcandy Mountain and American Hustle make their handicap debuts and have shown enough in maiden company to suggest they can get involved.
