Verdict
Nicky Richards does not have many runners on the flat but his representative That'll Do Nicely has been running well of late and should be thereabouts again but he may have to settle for minor honours once more with preference for GRAND DIAMOND, who gets the vote ahead of Starla Dancer. Richard Fahey's filly appreciated the better ground over course and distance last time when a fair third behind Templetuohy Max and she has solid claims racing off a 3lb lower mark today. Peter Monteith saddles two runners with Cool Baranca, a winner and a second here over a mile last season, looking the pick of the two on her reappearance over Shy Glance, who is closely matched with Starla Dancer. Jim Goldie also saddles two runners and while Al Wasef cannot be ruled out, Grand Diamond certainly looks the pick of the duo after a good third behind Sand Tiger at Musselburgh on his most recent start in April and he looks worth chancing to open his account for the season today.
