Verdict

MAKE MY DAY was expected to stay the 2m trip at York when sent off favourite but came up short. He won over 1m4f on the Knavesmire before that and today’s trip should suit Ralph Beckett’s charge. It was soft going when Multellie won at Haydock last week and he’s 5lb higher while Glasses Up makes a quick reappearance and steps up in distance having been beaten over 1m2f here a couple of days ago. Bronze River is proving hard to win with while dual hurdle winner Goobinator has won a maiden on the Flat and Elysian Flame was due to run here yesterday.
