In depth
Verdict
It is hard to escape the obvious claims of Alnasreya, who can follow up at the expense of Cadeaux des Mages and the more experienced Arzoo. Alnasrey won her only outing, a 10-runner maiden at Newmarket at the end of May, beating My Mellors by half a length and has worked well at home since. She will be better suited to a mile and a quarter in due course but can make the most of the weight that she receives from Cadeaux des Mages. The latter came out best in a four horse finish over seven furlongs at Haydock and will appreciate the extra trip here. He makes more appeal than Arzoo who has had plenty of chances to add to his juvenile haul without delivering. Even so, he is the only other runner to consider for a place behind our idea of the winner, Alnasreya.
