Verdict
There is not much public form to go on in this maiden so the market could provide the clues, but we will put forward Woolston Ferry who can get the better of Prize Point and Saif Al Fahad. The selection is the only runner with racecourse experience and Mick Channon's colt does set a fair standard. His two runs were both at Goodwood and although he was a beaten favourite last time, the horse that won the race finished sixth in the Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot on Tuesday, so the form looks solid enough. Prize Point is an interesting newcomer but he is bred to do better over a longer trip than this and unless the market vibes are really positive then he could be best watched. Saif Al Fahad could therefore be of more interest as the yard have to be respected in these type of events and he is bred to have the speed to get competitive here. Igneous is another newcomer worth a mention, but Woolston Ferry has the form in the book and should be hard to beat.
