Verdict
Tawny Port is hard to predict but wouldn’t be far away in a race like this if in the mood. Similar comments apply to top weight TRUTH OR DARE but the going is definitely in that one’s favour. He won on soft ground at Goodwood last year off a 3lb higher mark and runs at that track and Doncaster this year suggest the ability is still there. Catterick winner Iron Sky might prove the pick of the three Keith Dalgleish runners, ahead of Saint Equiano, while Roller is preferred to Magic City of Mick Easterby’s pair. Chai Chai was disappointing last time at Leicester but today’s conditions will be much more to his liking.
