        Verdict

        Pammi has been in decent form lately but conditions and the trip are both unknowns. Buonarroti and Buyer Beware both finished close up in a bunch finish over 2m at York last time but Bodacious Name is woefully one-paced and Ishallak is blinkered after running a shocker on his handicap debut at Epsom. Another three-year-old, BEER WITH THE BOYS, has yet to encounter a surface this soft but was third over 1m6f at Goodwood in June and is a well-bred colt probably capable of better. He gets a tentative vote in this ahead of course winner Qasr and Sempre Presto. Braes Of Lochalsh and Palindrome could also figure.
