Verdict
A fairly modest affair to open proceedings at Ayr. Local trainer, Ian Semple, successfully dropped Howards Heroine into this grade last time out at Redcar and went to 9000 guineas to retain her services. She will be aiming to put on another front-running display today. On two-year-old form, Two Steps To Go would have had little trouble in beating this bunch but she looks none-too-consistent these days. He was in good form on the fibresand but his turf efforts of late have hardly been inspiring. Ela D'Argent is best in on official ratings. She had useful two-year-old form but has disappointed at three. She ran her best race for sometime at Hamilton last time out but certainly isn't one to have the mortgage on.
