Verdict
The weights are headed by The Sun Also Rises, who despite holding a modicum of ability, looks a tricky ride and it is therefore somewhat surprising that an inexperienced apprentice has been put on board. Froglet is by far the most interesting of these. Unplaced as a two-year-old he is stepped up markedly in trip and could be thrown in off a mark of 55. Oriental Empress has decent form on his day and he has performed well in low grade events. There are no doubts about him staying the trip and he could be the one to oppose the favourite with. Little John is a professional loser who has lacked much sparkle these days and would probably struggle to land a walkover.
