          Verdict

Some in-form rivals come head to head in what is sure to be another thrilling contest. I Cried For You has been a revelation since being stepped up in trip and has to be respected on what he has achieved so far. He acts on any going, gets the trip well and is a credit to his connections. Understandably, his trainer will be selective in his placing of the seven-year-old from now on - but it would be just reward were he to land a first Listed race success here. However, Holy Orders is adaptable with regard to his best trip and should have no problems in stepping back to 10 furlongs today. The only niggling doubt is that the race may come a little too quickly after being just touched off in the Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes Tuesday. That said he has stood plenty of racing in Ireland and has the form to play a strong hand - assuming that the predicted showers take a little of the sting out of the ground. Vintage premium is another who would appreciate some cut in the ground but is in flying form at present and has no questions to answer about the trip. Transatlantic has a big race in him somewhere along the line but he seems to be better over a mile. Whereas Johannian has his ideal conditions but had his limitations exposed at Doncaster last time. Chianti is also capable of a bold show but his tendency to find one too good is slightly off-putting.
