In depth

Verdict

Dryden House bolted up on soft ground at Windsor last month, but was then bitterly disappointing in her hat trick bid at Newmarket. It may be that the ground was a little too fast for her that day and better can be expected here, but having said that she now runs off a 5lb higher mark and there may just be one or two too good here. Dayglow Dancer has been running well and deserved to get his head in front at Haydock last time , but will struggle to dominate in this field. Waltzing Wizard has been in tremendous form lately and seems to handle most types of ground and trip so is a good horse to have on your side for combination bets. The pick of Dandy Nicholls' trio should be Mister Rambo, who bolted up at York last time and is just as effective at this trip. But TEAMtalk's selection here is Sea Star, who is a real specialist over this trip and appears to be running into top form. Three pounds better off with Dayglow Dancer for a narrow defeat at Haydock, he went even closer in a good race at Doncaster last week, and off just a two pounds higher mark seems sure to run a very big race today.
