In depth

Verdict

Classy Anne just failed to catch Busy Bimbo in similar company at Hamilton last time. She beat Pavers Star and Rock Canyon on that occasion and should be thereabouts again. Sir Geoffrey had been in good form on the all-weather early this year but has gone off the boil of late and BUNCE makes more appeal. The latter's latest second in a higher grade sprint at Hamilton is the best piece of recent form on offer so Linda Perratt's charge gets the nod. The remainder are harder to fancy though Exotic Guest and Captain Scooby could bounce back at any time off their current marks.
