In depth
Verdict
Lincoln Red races off the same mark as when runner-up over 7f at Yarmouth so must have every chance of going one better. Archies Lad has tumbled down the weights and is tried in cheekpieces and Macs Blessings was second twice here last year, though has a poor strike-rate. Jessie Allan’s last win came over course and distance off a 16lb higher mark but that was almost two years ago. EXTRASOLAR is also on a long losing run but the 10-year-old is thrown in on his best form and was running well enough on the all-weather in the autumn to be of interest in this.
