      Verdict

      This going may not suit Mischief Star and Clay Regazzoni has yet to hit top form this year. Oakenshield was raised 11lb for winning at Newcastle, which seems harsh. Course winner MACHO TIME was a shade keen on his reappearance at Haydock but kept on well enough in the closing stages to suggest he’s trained on. He holds Gobi Sunset on that form and the quicker ground here will aid his cause. Bond's Boy looks the danger on his third at Newcastle at the start of the month.
