In depth

Verdict

Choc'A'Moca has only ever won over seven furlongs but was a decent second when last seen over this trip at Catterick and against this opposition he may play a part. Dancing Freddy has been tumbling down the ratings and his performance at Nottingham last time is better than the positions suggest having only finished a length behind the winner. The major honours may be decided between Doc Hay and RED ROAR with Paul Cole's entry just edged out. On a line through Bushwhacker, who they have both beaten in recent times, then Red Roar potentially has the advantage. She is looking for a hat-trick and although she is 6lb higher after winning at Musselburgh, Doc Hay enters handicap company for the first time and is at a 5lb disadvantage, so Red Roar gets the vote.
