    Verdict

Pokfulham won here last year on good ground over this trip and races off a 1lb lower mark. However, that was his only win and he has shown little since. Frontline Phantom may well set the tempo in this race and the going should suit. He should be respected off a realistic mark. CHANTILLY PEARL is selected as she looked good over the first nine furlongs in a ten furlong race at Redcar last time. This looks a good opportunity to land an overdue win. Grandad Bill drops considerably in trip after a break and this looks a pipe-opener before commencing a jumps campaign. Kiama Bay looks a big threat having run a good race behind Destiny Blue on seasonal debut and Trailblazing is worth consideration but may still be in the grasp of the handicapper.
